Home Groups

What Are Home Groups All About?

Home Groups are made up of adults of all ages, stages of life and spiritual maturity and take part in fellowship, Bible study, prayer and accountability. Each group consists of several married couples or singles (same gender or co-ed) and meet on a weekly basis in someone's home. We ask that you commit to meeting with your group for at least six weeks in order to truly experience community with others.

What's Involved in Leading a Home Group?

Leaders must have a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ, recognize the Bible as authority for their lives, preferably have had previous experience in a Home Group, be a member of Grace Community Fellowship Church, and have the time, emotional capacity, and moral discernment to lead a group. The expectation of a Home Group leader is to facilitate the group meeting, monitor its health and duration, and promote participation among group members. Leader training is made available for people who are interested in leading a group. If you're interested in being a home group leader in Boling, Needville, or Richmond/Rosenberg please contact the Home group pastor by the link below.

What's Involved in Hosting a Home Group?

Hosting involves opening up your home as a place for Home Groups to meet each week. You do not have to be a leader in order to host a Home Group. If you're interested in hosting a home group in your home in Needville, Boling, or Richmond/Rosenberg we would love to talk to you about getting started.
